Our Policy team works with government, regulators and other influencers in our various markets. Our aim is to promote the highest standards of governance and reporting, positioning The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland as ‘the’ professional centre of excellence and thought leadership on governance and compliance.
Research
The Policy team conducts and publishes research into current and forthcoming governance topics and trends, with input from members and partner organisations.
Guidance
The Policy team, with input from members and lawyers, publishes practical guidance on how to put regulations into practice, across sectors and types of organisations.
Consultations
In order to influence regulation, the Policy team develops relationships with government and regulators, and makes submissions to consultations with input from members.
Lobbying
The Policy team engages with politicians and government with a view to raising the profile of the Institute and to keep abreast of developments in the sector.
