London, 11 February 2019 – ICSA: The Governance Institute is holding a seminar on key areas of governance practice for company secretaries and governance professionals in Barbados. Taking place at the Hilton Barbados Resort, Needham’s Point, St Michael on Tuesday 19 February, the seminar will address crucial issues, such as technological innovation, directors’ duties and annual general meetings (AGMs).
Speaking in advance of the seminar, Connie Smith, Chair of ICSA’s Barbados branch said: “With governance practices being key factors in the success or failure of an organisation, governance professionals are uniquely positioned to steer governance, risk and compliance in order to ensure that high standards of governance are implemented across Barbados. This seminar will look at some of the main areas of challenges that today’s governance professionals need to meet in order to ensure that their organisations are fit for the future.”
