The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has recently consulted on proposals to reform the Registrar of Companies. The proposals will represent the biggest shift to the company law framework and to the role of the registrar since 1844. This session looked at the role of the registrar of companies as a result of these proposed changes.
Our speaker for the evening was Alex Walters, Head of Policy for Companies House. She has worked in the policy team since 2012 and is responsible for the implementation of legislative change that affects Companies House.
