Speaker bio's 

Katharine Byrne 

Katharine is Head of the BDO Corporate Finance Team and member of the BDO International M&A Group. Katharine has specialised in Corporate Finance for more than 15 years and has built up considerable experience advising private and public companies across a range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, fundraisings and refinancing. She has considerable experience as a strategic adviser to companies on business planning and diversification strategies and have overseen numerous financial and commercial business reviews across a range of industries, advising key stakeholders on their growth plans and assisting in raising new finance and implementing effective and successful solutions. She is a graduate of Law from University College Dublin and a Fellow Chartered Accountant.

Lorna Kelly  Lorna is an experienced Customs Manager more than 13 years of experience in Customs and Excise. Lorna also specialises in Customs and Trade Compliance and advises clients on import/export requirements, procedures and the standards required to minimise risk and exposure. In this regard Lorna has extensive experience working with companies in audit preparation and reviews, export licensing and compliance and AEO assessments. She is also an expert in customs classification and advises many international companies with regard to the optimum customs classification and implementation of best practice procedures across complex business environments. Lorna holds an Advanced Certificate in Trade and Customs Practice and Procedures.
