North East of England

This event took place on Tuesday 15 December 2020

branch members took a coffee break and joined us for the first meeting of the new North East branch. This was an opportunity to find out about the benefits of having a local branch, input into how the branch will operate and network informally with your local branch members and students.

We started with a welcome, introduction and Institute update from Victoria Penrice, our new President of the UKRIAT Committee. We were also joined by a member of the West Midlands Branch Committee, Helen Higginbotham who explained the benefits of having a strong local branch and gave us some ideas about what sort of events branches can hold.
