Wates Corporate Governance Principles for Large Private Companies

We were joined by Sir James Wates CBE as our keynote speaker for the afternoon, discussing the Wates Corporate Governance Principles for Large Private Companies and how companies can apply and report on them.
We also welcomed David Styles, Director, Corporate Governance with the Financial Reporting Council who spoke on subsidiary governance. Subsidiaries are now subject to additional reporting requirements as a result of legislative changes in The Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018.
