The ProShare SME Focus Group (small-to-medium enterprise) was relaunched on the afternoon of Thursday 22nd September at 4.00pm.
This (free) online session was chaired by Amy Reynolds, Partner – Tax and Share Schemes at Mazars, along with John Dormer, Director at RM2. Both Amy and John have a wealth of experience in this area and discussed key areas of interest, hot topics, regulatory updates, and agenda items suggested by our attendees.
If you have not attended a ProShare Focus Group before, they are lively discussions held in a friendly, supportive and helpful online environment. Attendees are invited to propose topics in advance for the agenda, and are free to ask questions and contribute to the conversation on the day. All we ask is that you keep your camera on to ensure that the session is as engaging and as inclusive as possible.
One of our key talking points for this session was hot topics and issues with EMI valuations, disclosure and documentation. This is something that comes up on a regular basis in due diligence situations and in businesses gearing up for sale.
Attendance was free and was open to organisations which are members of ProShare, individual members of the Chartered Governance Institute, and members of the CGI Small Listed Company Group.
