This event took place on Wednesday 28 November 2018.

Attendees joined us as we marked the launch of the Kent Branch with a feature presentation by Peter Swabey FCIS, Research and Policy Director at The Institute.

Peter informed us about recent corporate governance changes, including to the UK Corporate Governance Code, their implications for governance professionals and what they mean for the work of your boards. We heard the latest thinking from The Institute's engagements with the FRC and BEIS, and considered how to anticipate and embrace change in our organisations.

There was then a call for volunteers to enter the election to the committee, and following this many attendees took the opportunity to network.
