Anita is a Non-Executive Director of the Institute of Risk Management and as Deputy Chair recently represented the profession by appearing on BBC Asia and CNBC India to communicate key risk management principles and practices for handling the global pandemic.
Anita is a Non-Executive Director of the Institute of Risk Management and as Deputy Chair recently represented the profession by appearing on BBC Asia and CNBC India to communicate key risk management principles and practices for handling the global pandemic.
Anita has gained her perspective of what comprises good governance through her MSc in Global Governance & Ethics as well as her educational role with the Institute of Risk Management where she has led the development of modules in business continuity, crises, resilience and future risks. As Chair of the British Standards Institution’s governance committee, Anita facilitated the development of a framework for a standard in modern slavery and represented the UK at the International Organization for Standardization in the development of an international standard in organizational governance.
Anita is involved in supporting the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals through her academic research and charitable work. Her artwork on climate change was selected by the World Bank’s ‘Art of Resilience’ competition which aims to use art to help communicate complex scientific information about disaster risk.
