Everything you need to know for a smooth and pleasant experience
Virtual platform
Virtual Platform
The conference will be hosted on a virtual platform, and you will be sent joining instructions a few days before the event. When logging in, please ensure you are using a laptop or computer (not a phone or iPad) and you have chosen a browser such as Microsoft Edge or Chrome - older browser versions such as Internet Explorer are not compatible.
Technical Support
We suggest that you login early on the day to test the platform. If you are not able to login to the platform please email hello@miceconcierge.com
What to expect
Over the last year, we’ve all attended a number of virtual events, but each one is slightly different. Our platform will provide you with access to speakers, a chance to visit sponsor stands and book in meetings during or after the event, as well as offering you an opportunity to reach out to fellow attendees, and make new connections.
Agenda
You will be able to create your own bespoke agenda by scrolling down the sessions and clicking on the star to the right of each item. You can then filter by clicking on the star icon on the top right.
To participate in each session you will need to click on the JOIN button, which appear when a session is about to, or has started.
At the end of each session you will need to go back to timeline in the top left corner to return to the main page and go to the next session of your choice.
Streamed sessions
When a number of sessions are offered concurrently, you can join the session of your choice by simply clicking on the session title.
All sessions are recorded, and will be uploaded to the platform within 48 hours. They will be available on the platform for 2 weeks, and then we will move them to our website so you can continue to access them.
Networking
While the main conference sessions are running, you will be able to ask questions by using the Q&A tab.
For some sessions, you may be invited by the facilitator to join a small group to discuss a particular topic highlighted in a previous session.
You can also continue the conversations with speakers and your peers by going to the Messages tab.
There will also be a number of Networking and themed discussions, including in the early morning before the main sessions start, mid-morning and during the lunch hour. During these breaks you can either step away for a break or join one of the themed round table discussions hosted by our sponsors. Each roundtable will examine a different governance topic and will last no more than 20 minutes.
In the run-up to the event, you will be invited to choose which roundtable(s) you wish to join. You can join as many roundtable sessions throughout the day as you wish, although numbers in each session will be limited.
Keep an eye on the programme pages for details of roundtable sessions as they are confirmed.
Arranging meetings
If you want to arrange a meeting with another person, you can do so by messaging them from the Meeting Hub. You can have up to 6 people on a call if you meet at a sponsors stand.
Don’t worry if you can’t meet everyone you want during the event – the meetings functionality will still be open for a limited period after the event.
