2020 Winner
This was a standout nomination which described a team of just four people who had delivered a huge amount of work, including one of the largest public to private takeovers in UK corporate history.
The judges were particularly struck by the fact that the Inmarsat team had taken on such a large project without bringing in any additional resource, working with the board, management and external stakeholders. The team also worked on other very significant projects during the year, including a reorganisation of business entities, new processes for s.172 reporting and introducing new document management technology. The nomination was supported by strong testimonials as to the complexity of the work undertaken.
