2021 Winner
This is often the section of the report over which the company secretary has most direct influence and the overall quality of this category is consequently high. There were some very strong chair letters giving great insight into how the board leads the company, with good case studies – particularly on induction and some great insight on culture. However, too many directors are still defined by a CV rather than the skills that they bring to the board. Our winner was an outstanding example of getting this right.
