2021 Winner
There are a number of reports in this category which were ‘curate’s eggs’ – good in parts but letting themselves down elsewhere. The key elements are the decision about internal or external review; selection of the provider; the process; the outcomes and the actions to be taken and the actions taken as a result of the previous review. Some reporting on the latter was excellent. The best reports included effective signposting and cross-referencing, covered off how the evaluation had reviewed the various board committees and offered a discussion about the issues facing the board in the coming year.
