As last year’s winner of the inaugural Governance Champion of the Year award, an alumnus of the Strategic Governance Leadership Program through The Chartered Governance Institute and a certified trainer, Fiona works as a dynamic influencer and supporter of educational and charity governance. She is the founder of Governance4fe.co.uk, an organisation for Further Education governance, a published researcher through the Further Education Trust for Leadership (FETL), and a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD). Having spent 20 years working with Boards, Fiona has a considerable understanding of what effective governance looks like, as well as excellent strategic leadership skills to deliver such and support all those operating in the governance space. She works collaboratively with those tasked with the responsibility for governance, to confidently and comprehensively transform governance through the delivery of training and board advisory services, for all those in the governance arena.
