Marie Claire Tabone is a Project Manager in the Financial Reporting Lab (the Lab) at the Financial Reporting Council. She joined the Lab in June 2020 and leads the Lab’s work on stakeholders and Section 172. She also focuses on other sustainability issues, including climate.
Prior to joining the Lab, Marie Claire was on secondment from PwC as a technical fellow at the International Accounting Standards Board on the Management Commentary project a manager. Previously, Marie Claire was a manager in PwC’s global investor engagement team, where she engaged with investors, standard setters and regulators on corporate reporting practices. Marie Claire is a qualified accountant, and prior to working in investor engagement, worked in audit in PwC London, the Channel Islands and Malta.
