Rod is a 25+ year qualified Solicitor with 15+ years’ experience in sport management at senior Executive, CEO and Board level. He is currently the Business Services Director and Company Secretary at British Cycling, the national governing body for cycling in Great Britain, and the most successful British sport at the recent Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has six major business areas within his portfolio: Legal & Integrity, Finance, Governance, HR, IT/Digital and Strategy/Business Transformation. His current Company Secretary role complements previous experience as Company Secretary at England Golf, the national governing body for golf, and as a Non-Executive Director at the Mountain Training Trust, the Ladies Golf Union and Badminton England.
