Start by considering the type of event you are most happy with (larger online events/one-on-one meetings/social or work focussed), the format you prefer (Skype, Google Hangouts, Zoom, Facetime, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams not forgetting the good old telephone and even email) and identify your networking objectives.
