Lisa Hartshorn

Lisa has 14 years’ corporate governance and company secretarial experience advising predominantly PLC Boards and Committees, Non-Executive Directors and subsidiary boards.

She is currently Interim Company Secretary at Corio Generation Limited, a globally leading offshore wind developer, which is a portfolio company of Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, operating on a standalone basis. Previously, she has worked at a diverse range of organisations such as Serco, PZ Cussons, DWF, Inmarsat, Tesco, the Coop Bank, and Halfords.

Uniquely throughout her career, Lisa has worked in both permanent, as well as interim roles, which has given her a broad and varied exposure to different applications of corporate governance across FTSE, AIM, and private companies, as well as of the benefits of harnessing technology to support the effectiveness of corporate governance frameworks and company secretarial functions. She believes technology can be an enabler, allowing company secretaries to focus on adding visible value across their organisation and encouraging collaborative, cross-functional relationships.

Lisa has also previously acted as a Charity Trustee Director and Vice Chair of the Full Governing Board, and Finance and Premises Committee member, of a Secondary School.
