As part of the Institute’s transformation programme, we have been working on a replacement for our databases and systems. We are delighted to announce that this will go live in May. The new system is a vital part of our work to turn the Institute into a vibrant, modern organisation capable of delivering for our members, and will transform the customer service experience.
Our new systems will allow us to serve all of our users more efficiently, as well as offering you the ability to do much more in MyCG.
To enable the smooth transition, many of our online systems will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade. During this time, you will be unable to access MyCG, and online booking for training courses and events will be limited.
Students who are sitting our June exams will be unaffected and will still be able to access study support materials in our Learning Management system.
FAQs
Will I still be able to contact CGIUKI during this time?
Yes. Our contact centre will be open to deal with your queries, however we may be a little busier than usual.
Please note, emails sent to enquiries@cgi.org.uk will be responded to when the systems are back up and running.
Will my login details for the website transfer over to the new system?
Everything but your password. All CGIUKI members, and anyone with an account with us will receive a unique link via email, from enquiries@cgi.org.uk inviting you to update your password.
Will I still be able to access study resources for the June exams?
Yes. We recently sent an email to students taking exams this June which included links to study resources. If you did not receive this email or need help accessing these resources, please contact our support team on +44 (0)20 7580 4741, or by email: enquiries@cgi.org.uk.
How do I set my new login details?
Once the system is live, you will receive an email from the Institute containing a unique ‘Re-registration’ link. Clicking this link will take you to the ‘Pre-Registration’ webpage (Please note this link can only be used once, so please ensure you have a few minutes to fill in the details and that you have a stable internet connection).
Once you have set your username and password you will see a screen stating that you have successfully created your account and you are now logged in.
How do I change my password after the first time?
After completing the pre-registration process, if you wish to change your password, you can do so by navigating to the ‘My details’ tab. On this page you can select ‘Change my password’ option under the ‘Login details’ section.
