Kirsty is a Chartered Secretary in Public Practice and director of Semple Associates Ltd, formed in 2001.
Specialising in corporate governance and compliance, she has provided consultancy, training and support to the boards of a number of voluntary sector organisations for ten years. She is also editor of the The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland Charities Handbook. Prior to going into public practice, Kirsty was Company Secretary of disability charity Scope. She now acts as Secretary for a range of organisations, including the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors and the National Gardens Scheme.
Kirsty has incorporated, registered and established a number of charities, and has experience of a variety of corporate forms.
