Board Performance Reviews: Advanced

This course supports those with Board Performance Review experience who are either looking to develop their skills as an internal board reviewer or to begin conducting external reviews as a consultant.

Chris Stamp FCG - Director and Founder, Ceradas

Chris is a board evaluator and business adviser with a strong understanding of corporate governance in UK listed companies built up over 35 years. After working as a company secretary with a number of blue-chip companies, Chris set up Prism Cosec, a leading company secretarial practice, in 2002. Prism Cosec is now part of the Equiniti Group. Chris founded Ceradas in 2017 as an independent niche governance and business advisory practice.

Chris has been providing board review services for nearly ten years and continues to provide governance and compliance advice to listed companies. He is also a Founder member of The Board Effectiveness Guild, whose central purpose is to share best practice in board effectiveness reviews.

Lintstock

Lintstock are an advisory firm specialising in board evaluations.  They were founded in 2002 and act as retained counsel for over 120 leading boards.  Lintstock's development and delivery team for this programme includes

Neil Alderton
Neil joined Lintstock in 2012 and leads Board Review mandates internationally for a range of listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. He is responsible for the development of the Lintstock Governance Index, a data analytics tool which drives the firm’s peer comparisons and research arm. Masters in Engineering, Cambridge University.

Merlin Underwood
Merlin founded Lintstock in 2002 and is responsible for developing Lintstock’s approach to Board Reviews, which has seen the firm grow a retained client base of over 120 companies across 5 continents. BA in Law, Cambridge University, European Master‘s in Law and Economics (LLM) from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. Member of the Middle Temple, called to the Bar in 2004.

Phil Mackie
Phil joined Lintstock in 2012 and is responsible for facilitating Board workshops on the output of Lintstock's Reviews, including peer comparison with reference to the Lintstock Governance Index. He also leads Lintstock's seminars on topical governance issues internationally. Chartered Accountant, BA Strathclyde Business School, MPhil Cambridge University.

Kate Barclay
Kate joined Lintstock in 2023 from boutique advisory firm Fidelio, where she was part of their Board Review practice. Kate is responsible for scoping Lintstock’s Board Reviews in collaboration with clients, for both survey- and interview-driven projects. BA in History, Oxford University.
