This course supports attendees to better understand the benefits of addressing and embedding diversity, equity and inclusion within the board. How effective governance can enhance business performance and success. You will enhance your knowledge regarding roles and responsibilities in relation to Equality law and the trustee role.

• The benefits and importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to your organisation and board
• Why DEI is critical to business performance and success
• Trustees’ responsibilities regarding DEI
• Roles, responsibilities and compliance regarding the Equality Act
• Conscious and unconscious bias and how to mitigate this in key governance decisions
• How to ensure the board is inclusive and accessible to all
