What you need to know about renewing your CGIUKI membership.
Chartered governance professionals are needed now more than ever. Maintain your professional standing and carry on championing the governance sector by renewing your CGIUKI membership.
Our 12-month membership year gets underway on 1 August each year, with members being able to renew from 1 July. We’ll send you regular reminders, with information on the different ways you can renew and pay for your membership.
Why renew your membership?
How to renew
Renew your CGIUKI membership online via MyCG. You can make a one-off payment by card or set up an annual direct debit for automated payments on 1 August each year. You can also opt to set up a monthly direct debit.
If your employer is paying for your annual subscription, you can download your invoice from MyCG – just tick 'invoice to my employer'.
Membership fees
We review membership fees each year and publish the most up-to-date on our main Fees page.
Upgrading your membership
You can upgrade your membership at any time via MyCG, where you’ll also find the upgrade criteria.
Help with membership fees
If you’re not working due to long-term sickness, ill-health, unemployment or because you’re on parental leave, you may be eligible to apply for a concessionary membership rate. Concessions are granted initially for one year only, so you’ll need to reapply each year if it’s still relevant to you.
Depending on your situation, you might be eligible for support from our charitable trust’s benevolent fund.
If you need more time to pay, please get in touch with our membership team using the online form below or on +44 (0)20 7580 4741. Please note that we can’t accept late payments in instalments.
