It is essential that directors, trustees, and others who play a significant role in the management of the whole or a substantial part of an organisation's activities are aware of the very serious consequences of not complying with their duties of care.

This guidance has been provided to help inform directors of public and private corporations, statutory authorities and charity trustees about the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 and how it may affect the decisions made in the boardroom.
