ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute has welcomed the extension of flexibilities around company meeting arrangements included in the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (the Act), which the government has extended to 30 March 2021.

Paul McCullagh, Company Secretary at Dublin-based Barclays Europe has been named Company Secretary of the Year by ICSA: The Chartered Governance Institute at the Institute’s 2020 Awards. MOHRE’s governance maturity evaluation project, which has enhanced the maturity of the Ministry’s governance system, sealed the win for MOHRE at last night’s 2020 Awards.

ICSA: The Governance Institute has today announced that it has changed its name to become The Chartered Governance Institute, a move which mirrors the change in name of the international professional body of which it is a division.
