Open letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt

On 6 March 2024, Jeremy Hunt will deliver the Spring Budget, the last anticipated fiscal event before a general election later this year.

Today, Sara Drake, CEO of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGIUKI) has written an open letter to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, ahead of the Spring Budget, with a package of policy proposals which will collectively boost the UK economy.

The package of proposals covers corporate reporting, audit, tax, capital market reform, apprenticeships and economic crime.
