Peter Swabey is Policy and Research Director at CGIUKI. He is responsible for developing CGIUKI’s profile to members, regulators, policymakers, employers and other stakeholders by delivering thought leadership and lobbying campaigns aligned to CGIUKI strategy and promoting strong governance as the vital ingredient for success in organisations. Peter joined CGIUKI in 2013 and has almost 30 years’ industry experience. Prior to CGIUKI, Peter was at Equiniti where he was Company Secretary and Industry Leadership Director; he was also a Director of Equiniti David Venus, Equiniti’s Company Secretarial Services provider.

Tobias founded Sherpany with the vision of building a world where every meeting counts. Today, Sherpany is the Swiss market leader for meeting management software. By 2025, it will have revolutionized the corporate meeting culture and have freed up 100 million hours of wasted meeting time. As a technical enthusiast, he supports C-suites, executive boards, and the board of directors in the digital transformation of leadership and meeting management to increase impact and time effectiveness. Meaning: Automatization of information flow, digitization of individual meeting preparation, facilitation of decision making during the meeting, and standardization of assignments and follow-ups. Before founding Sherpany, Tobias successfully founded and sold a company in the security industry. Tobias holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Zurich. In his free time, Tobias enjoys hiking, water sports, doing construction work and driving excavators.

Chris is a governance professional, board reviewer and business adviser with a strong understanding of corporate governance in UK listed companies built up over 35 years. After working as a company secretary in-house, Chris set up Prism Cosec, a leading company secretarial practice (now part of the Equiniti Group). Chris founded Ceradas in 2017 as an independent practice providing corporate governance services to directors and company secretaries. Chris works with companies across a broad range of sectors from FTSE100 to small cap and AIM. Chris is a Founder member of The Board Effectiveness Guild and a trainer on the Advanced Board Performance Review course run by the Chartered Governance Institute. Until 2023, Chris was Chair of Emperor Design Consultants, one of the UK’s largest independent corporate creative communications agencies . Chris continues to advise the Emperor team and their clients on best practice governance and compliance reporting. Chris holds a BA (Hons) in history from Southampton University and an MBA from Warwick Business School (WBS).
