Membership Options
Chartered membership
If your ambition is to become a chartered governance professional, which will open many doors for you professionally and ensure your name is included in our prestigious membership directory, then join us as a student of the Qualifying programme. Depending on your previous qualifications and work experience, you may be able to take one of our shortcut routes, or if you have no prior experience you may need to start with the Foundation Programme. Whichever qualification route you take, you will start your journey as a student member of CGIUKI.
Affiliated membership
If you have some relevant governance experience and/or qualifications already and you just want to belong without taking exams to get chartered, you may want to consider one of the routes to Affiliated membership.
How else can I belong?
As the home of good governance, we do not believe in keeping all our resources under lock and key for our members’ use only (and we also believe that when you see what we offer, you will make the decision to join us and benefit from member discounts!).
