Qualifications
Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme
The Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme is your route to graduate membership and chartered status. No previous formal qualifications are required, but we recommend you have some experience in governance, law or finance. If you do have relevant qualifications and/or experience, you may be able to bypass some exams and qualify faster.
Postgraduate degree courses
We partner with six UK universities to offer the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme as a dual qualification as part of a postgraduate degree course.
Foundation Programme
Our entry level qualification that’s open to everyone, no matter your qualifications or experience. The Foundation Programme equips you with the relevant skills and knowledge to prepare you for the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme.
Sector-specific governance qualifications
Sector specific courses for Level 4 certificates in charity, corporate, education, sport and Level 6 certificates in corporate and health service governance.
Fees
If you’re studying a CGIUKI qualification directly with us, your first year student membership is included in your course fee.
The relevant course fees are shown on each qualification page.
If you’re a student on a validated postgraduate degree course, you'll need to complete a university student registration form to register with us.
If you’re unable to pay your fees for any reason, we may be able to help as part of our membership fees concessionary rate policy.
