Overview
Holding meetings is an essential aspect of business life and are vehicles which allow business to be transacted efficiently and effectively. They should be stimulating, motivating and even fun.
Typically, a chair assumes the role based on seniority, technical expertise, or a combination of the two. Training in the art of holding a successful meeting may be overlooked or even deemed unnecessary, but an effective meeting requires an effective chair.
The Effective Chairing Skills course teaches the practical skills that every chair needs to facilitate effective meetings. Delivered with a mix of teaching, exercises and discussion, we focus on three key areas. Planning, chairing, and evaluation.
