Overview
Effective governance requires an understanding of how the entity operates; what is its rulebook, who are its decision makers, what are its obligations, what legislation and regulation is it required to follow, who has the authority to make changes etc. A poor understanding of the mechanics of an entity can lead to poor governance which would be disastrous for an entity.
This governance training course will leave you with an understanding of how different entities work, the pros and cons of each and to be able to apply this to your organisation. It will equip you with the knowledge to identify the right entity type for the situation and the skills to understand all entity types, their differences and their similarities.
