ICSA Guernsey Awards 2019 Winners announced at Annual Dinner
The winners of The Chartered Governance Institute’s ICSA Guernsey Awards 2019, which recognise the achievements of Guernsey’s governance professionals and corporate service providers, were announced at a glittering awards dinner on Friday, 15 November 2019. The academic achievements of the Institute’s local members and students were also celebrated at the ICSA Guernsey Annual Awards Dinner 2019, which took place at the Duke of Richmond Hotel.

The Institute of Hospitality (IoH) saw two recent Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives recognised when BBC Breakfast presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Dan Walker handed the IoH the award for ‘Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year’ at The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland’s 2021 Awards at the London Park Lane Hilton Hotel last night. An article in the Financial Times on 10 September reported that a group of lawyers and academics had criticised the Financial Reporting Council’s review of the UK Corporate Governance Code for an “extraordinary omission” by not formalising the role of the general counsel in the Code.
